Growing up in a small south Georgia town, Megan nurtured her love of performing with ballet, tap, and jazz classes from the age of 3 until graduating from college with her BFA in Musical Theatre. Her mother encouraged Megan’s love of physical activity by allowing her to tag along to step aerobics and weight training classes at the local YMCA. After spending several years touring and working in regional theaters around the United States, Megan decided to combine her two passions and share her love of movement and physical fitness with the world! She received her Group Fitness Certification from the American Council on Exercise in 2012 while living in South Carolina and began teaching right away. Following a move to NYC, Megan jumped into teaching full time and now leads a wide variety of classes across Manhattan every week including Pilates, Barre, HIIT/circuit training, cardio, weight lifting, and TRX. She holds a Mat Pilates Certification from Equinox Gyms. Megan is a proud military wife, and in addition to teaching she loves coffee, red wine, and encouraging people to step outside their comfort zone and SWEAT!!!
