Claudia Zakrzewski
Born and bred in Brooklyn, Claudia has been dancing in NYC her entire life. She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, the Fame school, as a dance major before attending the joint Fordham University/Alvin Ailey program where she graduated with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Communications. She has performed on stages with the Martha Graham Dance Company and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, as well as performed works by Robert Battle and William Forsythe. In her last year at Fordham, she danced for The Metropolitan Opera. Other dance work includes JCPenney, L’Oréal Matrix, Tracy Reese, Nick Cave, BlackBook and Noisey.
Claudia never could and never will sit still. Fitness and staying active has always been a part of her life. The more challenging the better, so upon graduation she decided to tackle the challenge of becoming a well-rounded instructor. She is currently certified in Pilates mat and apparatus, TRX, and spin, as well instructing barre. She loves to move and sweat to the beat and is super excited to be joining the FLEX team!
