Jackie’s Breakfast Blend Smoothie
As a fitness instructor I have a two very early wake up times a week. It is important to me that even though I don’t have much time in the morning I find a way to get a good breakfast made with real ingredients. Lately my go to early am breakfast is a smoothie! I have the NutriBullet which makes smoothie making extremely easy. There is no clean up and the cup you blend the smoothie in you can bring with you to drink out of! I alternate between a few morning go to’s, but below is my absolute favorite combination.
The peanut butter gives me protein and healthy fat to keep me full, bananas are a great source of potassium and help with muscle soreness, and I always feel like I score extra points when I find a way to eat greens at breakfast! This delicious treat really is the perfect breakfast blend!
1 banana
1 cup organic baby spinach
1 Tbs organic peanut butter
½ cup blueberries
1 Tbs raw cocoa nibs
¾ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Blend and enjoy!
